Academic Council of ICM&MG SB RAS
The Academic Council is designed, according to the institute’s statutes, for solving major scientific, organizational, and personnel problems of the institute. The Academic Council is responsible for discussing and defining development strategy of scientific research, organizational activities, and scientific and technical policy of the institute. According to the basic research directions of the institute, the Academic Council consists of four sections .
The Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics SB RAS (ICM&MG SB RAS), former Computing Center of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, was founded by the RSFSR Council of Ministers (order no. 1693-р, May 4, 1963) and the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences (order no. 455, May 24, 1963).
